Catholic Cruise of Croatia will include the best destinations like Split, Hvar, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Mljet, Sibenik, National park Krka...

We will celebrate the daily Holy Mass with the priest on a cruise, in medieval churches and cathedrals, like a 13th-century cathedral in Hvar.

We will have city tours of Sibenik, Split, Korcula, and Dubrovnik with two National parks, Krka & Mljet. See the most famous Croatia beach, Bol, on Brac island!

This is a tour where one will have a chance to get a beautiful overview of Dalmatia! We will tour & cruise islands & mainland, enjoy the Dalmatian cuisine, Captain's dinner in Dubrovnik, Sibenik, lunch daily onboard the cruise ship, and all that while on a mini-cruise ship for our group!

The mini-cruise ship of 18 cabins - so, limited availability!

Day 1 Flight from the USA, Oct. 12, 2022
Departure from your airport, an overnight intercontinental flight to Croatia, Split.

 

Day 2 Arrival in Split, Oct. 13, 2022 (D)
After an overnight flight, we are in Split. We meet our tour escort and driver upon arrival, short transfer to the hotel, check-in, and rest before dinner. Dinner is in one of the restaurants in the old town of Split, local cuisine & wine served! A short evening walk before we are back to our hotel for the first night in Croatia, in Split.

 

Day 3 Excursion to Sibenik-Krka, Oct. 14, 2022 (B, D)
After breakfast, we will drive to Sibenik. The charms of this old town filled with a vivid, rich history will make our day. We will visit St. James Cathedral (1431 – 1535) is under UNESCO protection. We will celebrate Holy Mass here in Sibenik before we make our way to Krka National Park to visit one of the 17 beautiful waterfalls. Skradinski Buk is the longest and most beautiful one. After the waterfalls, we will take a short cruise along the Krka River, from Skradin Waterfall to the small town of Skradin, where we meet our driver. At the end of the day, we are back at our hotel in Split.

 

Day 4 Embarking the cruise ship – Split, Oct. 15, 2022 (B, D)
Check-in to the cruise ship. After settling, enjoy the guided tour of the city. Split is a historic town under UNESCO protection and part of the world heritage. One will find an abundance of Roman architecture – of particular interest is the magnificent Diocletian palace, once inhabited by the Roman emperor. After the tour of Split, some free time before we return to the vessel for dinner. Overnight is on our cruise ship in Split port. Following morning we will leave for Korcula!

 

Day 5 Split – Korcula, Oct. 16, 2022 (B,L)
In the morning, a departure from this magnificent town and cruise towards the Island of Korčula, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays en route. Early afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of the enchanting town fortified by walls. Here in Korcula, we will celebrate Holy Mass with our priest! Korčula treasures more legends, tales, and monuments than any other place discover some wandering along the herringbone pattern streets. Korčula has an abundant choice of restaurants for a great gourmet experience. Overnight in Korčula.

Today we have Wine & Olive oil tasting on board the cruise ship.

 

Day 6 Korcula – Mljet – Dubrovnik, Oct. 17, 2022 (B, L, D)
The following day, head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join the cruise manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to the Saint Mary Isle, an island with an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey, and a Church dating from the 12th century. Return to the vessel for lunch, followed by departure towards Dubrovnik. Late afternoon arrival in Dubrovnik, but before tying the ropes at the Gruž harbor, the Captain will arrange an evening cruise alongside the old city walls. Enjoy the spectacular views of this magnificent ancient town. Tonight we are in Dubrovnik's new port Gruz, enjoying Captain's dinner! Cheers! Overnight in Dubrovnik.

 

Day 7 Dubrovnik, Oct. 18, 2022 (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to the old town for a guided walking tour & Holy Mass. We will celebrate our private Holy Mass in St. Blaise church & traditional blessing of the throat! This morning the group will meet with the guide and have a guided walking city tour of Dubrovnik, under UNESCO protection, for more than 30 years. During our visit to the historical city, we will see StradunRector's PalaceSt. Francis ChurchSponza PalaceOrlando's Columnthe first pharmacy in Europe, as well as interesting churches and old town's narrow streets. In the afternoon, you are free to explore Dubrovnik on your own, seek out a drink in one of the trendy piazzas or walk the famous 1,940 m long walls, or go up to Mt. Day 8 Dubrovnik – Peljesac, Oct. 19, 2022 (B,L)
Early morning departure towards the Pelješac peninsula, home to Croatia's best-known red wines: Dingač and Postup. Before lunch, a short stop at one of the Elaphiti Islands and afternoon arrival to Pelješac peninsula. Today we are away from the crowds and busy towns.

Afternoon in the quiet village, followed by a visit to a local vinery Grgich! Croatian-American family Grgich to whom we owe the discovery of the connection between Zinfandel & local wine Crljenak! The exciting story is ahead of us with the fabulous wines! We are in Trstenik for the night.

Day 9 Peljesac – Hvar, Oct. 20, 2022 (B,L)
Morning departure towards Hvar. Lunch stop on the small Island of Scedro. Arrival to Hvar in the afternoon. Hvar is the most extended Island in the Adriatic and one of the sunniest, known for lavish lavender fields and breath-taking beauty. One can find many historical landmarks in Hvar: the Renaissance cathedral where we celebrate our Holy Mass with its original tower and the oldest community theatre in Europe, which was founded in 1612 - to name a few. Hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbor to get some lovely scenic views of the vessel and the Pakleni islands. In the evening, Hvar offers an abundance of entertainment - many restaurants and cafes are open long into the night. Overnight in Hvar.

 

Day 10 Hvar – Bol – Milna or Pucisca, Oct. 21, 2022 (B, L)
Today's destination is the Island of Brač and the picturesque town of Bol. Walk along the promenade or swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat (the Golden cape - known for its gravel promontory shifts from side to side, as the wind and waves constantly change its shape). Bol is a typical fishermen's town turned into a popular tourist destination. After lunch on board, time at leisure until wine tasting in Bol Winery. Departure for Milna or Pučišća. Overnight in Milna or Pučišća on island Brac.

Today we are on a wine tasting and local delicacies in town Bol!

 

Day 11 – Milna or Pucisca – Split, Oct. 22, 2022 (B, D)
Early morning departure for Split. Gather for one last breakfast at the vessel, followed by goodbyes with the crew and all the new friends, before they see you off in Split. Transfer to our hotel in Split, free afternoon. Farewell dinner out in a restaurant in Split, typical Dalmatian cuisine. Our last night in Split.

 

Day 12 – Flight back home, Oct. 23, 2022 (B)

Today after early breakfast (or breakfast box), transfer to airport for flight back home, arrival to US same day.
 

***For those who continue their pilgrimage to Medjugorje, transfer from the hotel at 9:30 am!
